By using smartpdfconvert.com (“the Service”) you agree to these terms.
1. The Service
SmartPDFConvert provides free online tools to convert, edit and process PDF and image files. The tools run in your browser and your files are not uploaded to us.
Acceptable use
Only process files that you own or have permission to use. Do not use Unlock PDF, OCR or any other tool to access, copy or change documents you are not allowed to, or to break any law.
2. Your responsibility
You are responsible for the files you process and must have the right to use and change them. Do not use the Service for anything illegal, to infringe the rights of others, or to forge signatures or documents.
3. No warranty
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. Conversions may not always be perfect. Always check the result and keep a copy of your original files.
4. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, SmartPDFConvert is not liable for any loss or damage arising from the use of, or inability to use, the Service, including loss of data or business.
5. Electronic signatures
The Sign PDF tool adds an image of your signature to a document. Whether such a signature is legally valid depends on your country and document type. You are responsible for checking this.
6. Intellectual property
The website design, text and code belong to SmartPDFConvert or its licensors. Open-source components are used under their own licenses (see licenses).
Accounts
Some tools need a free account. Give accurate details, keep your password secret and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for activity under your account. You can delete your account at any time.
AI features and shared links
AI results are generated automatically and may be wrong – check them before use. Do not use AI tools to create unlawful, hateful, deceptive or infringing content. If you share a logo or design with a link, you are responsible for who you share it with.
Fair use and security
Do not try to overload, hack, scrape or reverse-engineer the Service, get around usage limits, or use bots to send automated requests. We may limit or block access to protect the Service and its users.
Advertising
The Service is free because it shows advertising. Do not click ads dishonestly or use tools that block or interfere with how the site works.
Termination
We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or the law. You may stop using the Service at any time.
Indemnity
You agree to cover any claims, losses or costs that arise from your misuse of the Service or your breach of these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights you have where you live. If any part of these terms is found invalid, the rest still applies.
7. Changes
We may change these terms or the Service at any time. Continued use means you accept the updated terms.
