Which mode should I choose?

Clean document reads the structure of your HTML – headings, paragraphs, lists, tables, images – and lays it out as a tidy PDF with real, selectable text. CSS styling is simplified.

Exact look draws your HTML with its styles, like a screenshot of the full page, and splits it into PDF pages. Text in this mode is part of the picture.

Limits

For safety, JavaScript in your HTML is removed and never runs. External stylesheets and web fonts are not loaded – put your CSS in a <style> tag. To save a live website as PDF, open it in your browser and use Print → Save as PDF.
