Made for online forms

Government, exam, university and job portals often ask for a photo under 50 KB or a signature under 20 KB. This tool shrinks your image to fit while keeping it as clear as possible. If the form also asks for exact pixels (for example 200 × 230), type them in the width and height boxes.

Tips

Frequently asked questions

How do I reduce a photo to 20KB?
Choose the photo, pick 20 KB (or type any size) and press Resize image. The tool finds the best quality that stays under your limit and downloads a ready-to-upload JPG.
How do I resize to 50KB without losing quality?
We test many quality levels and keep the highest one that stays under 50 KB, so the photo looks as good as possible at that size. Starting from a clear, well-lit photo always gives the best result.
My form also asks for a size in pixels – can I set both?
Yes. Enter the width and/or height in pixels as well as the KB limit. This is common for signature and passport photo uploads.
What format is the result?
JPG, which is accepted by almost every online form, including government, university and job portals.
Why is my result smaller than the limit?
Forms reject files that are even 1 KB too big, so we stay safely under your target. A few KB below the limit is normal.
Is my photo uploaded?
No. It is resized in your browser and never leaves your device.
