How to use Crop PDF
- Press Select PDF file.
- Drag the box (or tap Remove white margins).
- Choose which pages, press Crop PDF and download.
Why crop a PDF?
Wide white margins make text tiny on a phone or e-reader. Cropping them makes the page fill the screen. You can also cut out a single table, picture or receipt from a larger page, or tidy scans that captured part of the desk.
Good to know
Cropping hides the area outside the box, like a picture frame. The text inside stays sharp and searchable.
When to crop a PDF
- Remove wide white margins so pages are easier to read on a phone or e-reader.
- Cut away the black borders of scanned pages.
- Keep only a receipt, ticket or ID card from a full A4 scan.
Tips
- Drag the box on the first page – the same crop can be used for all pages, or each page can get its own.
- Cropping only hides the area outside the box. For confidential content that must really disappear, use Redact PDF.
- Want the cropped area to fill an A4 page again? Run the result through Resize PDF.
